16 October is World Food Day which is a campaign that seeks to build a world where everyone has sustainable, equitable, and secure access to nutritional food.
This years theme is ‘Leave NO ONE behind’, and aims to raise awareness about how the pandemic, conflict, and climate are affecting the global food security.

Coinciding with World Food Day is National Nutrition Week which is held between 16-23 October.
The National Nutrition Week campaign raises awareness about good nutrition and healthy lifestyles. It highlights the importance that eating nutritional foods has on your health, and encourages us to eat more sustainable vegetables to benefit ourselves and the planet.
