Campus activities

The Dean’s Office and the Student Guild liaise with a range of other industry bodies, organisations and areas of the university to hold non-academic events and activities for students and staff at South West Campus. Together, the teams organise the annual student ball as well as other events on campus. Sporting equipment is often provided for students in Kulbardi Court as well as classes including yoga and self-defence.

Sports and Fitness Centre

Tone up, get fit or lose extra kilos at our Sports and Fitness Centre.  We cater for people of all fitness and ability levels while our trainers develop specialised programs that will help you reach your goal.

Membership is available to staff, students and to our precinct partner staff. Application forms are available from the Student Hub. For more information on membership applications and fees, email

  • Monday to Friday: 7.00am-7.00pm
  • Out of Semester and Weekends – 9.00am-5.00pm (security staff can open the gym. Please use the phone situated adjacent to the toilet block across from the gym)

FREE Yoga Classes

Fix your goals deep into your mind through yogic techniques with Integral yoga. It's easy, anyone can do it and classes are adapted to suit everyone. Free to all students.
