Creche – Occasional Care

Our crèche  is available for ECU staff and students whilst studying or working on campus.

  • Location: Building 4 (behind the Cafe)
  • Cost: Students $5.50 per child per hour. Staff $8.00 per child per hour.
  • Minimum booking time: 1 hour minimum, 4 hour maximum
  • Open hours: Monday to Friday 8.20am - 4.30pm.

About the Crèche and activities

The crèche caters for children aged between 2 months to 5 years old.

Inside: There is a creative arts corner, lots of colourful games and children’s DVDs / programmes. Plus an area for sleeping babies.

Outside: We have a covered sandpit and soft play surface with fun activities for adventurous children.  We also have a heater to cater for the cooler days.

Friendly and experienced staff: The crèche staff are trained in First-Aid and adhere to rigid health and hygiene standards and also have current Working with Children Checks.
