Esther is a Lecturer in Nursing within the School of Nursing and Midwifery.

Esther teaches and coordinates:

  • NPP2101, Professional Nursing Practice 1

Background

Esther had her Bachelor (Honours) degree in nursing from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana. Since then she has worked as a senior nursing officer at the KNUST hospital, Ghana where she became ward manager of the Children’s ward.

After working in clinical and educational setting, she left to the United Kingdom to pursue her Master’s degree in Advanced Nursing at the University of Nottingham. She has since been actively involved in clinical nursing (children and adults), nursing education and nursing research.

Esther is currently finalising her PhD thesis for examination.

  • 2011 - 2012: Commonwealth Shared Scholarship for Master’s Degree at University of Nottingham.
