Future Teachers Fund

We know that a great teacher can make a world of difference to thousands of children and their families over the course of their career.

We’re proud of the role we’ve played in nurturing inquiring minds and educating generations who have gone on to be industry and thought leaders across the globe.

But we don’t want finance and the cost of living to be a barrier to becoming a teacher. That's why ECU has launched the Future Teachers Fund.

Money raised will provide direct financial support to students of Education during their final year professional experience placement. During this full-time compulsory professional experience placement students cannot undertake their regular paid employment.

The Fund also aims to meet the growing demand for qualified school teachers in Western Australia.

Can you help?

We want to do generations of teachers proud and continue our tradition of teaching excellence through the Future Teachers Fund.

But we can’t do this without your help. Your generous donation will help ensure our future teachers avoid financial hardship during this important time of their final year professional experience placement.

Thanks to people like you, ECU’s Future Teachers Fund will provide a $5,000 Scholarship per student, to those who are most in need of financial support.

Hear more about the Future Teachers Fund from Professor Caroline Mansfield, Executive Dean of Education at ECU.
