Staff giving

No matter which area of ECU you work in – academia or professional – you can play a vital role in supporting our students.

The Staff Giving Program is proof of the impact we can make when we come together and commit to making a difference.

ECU’s Inspiring Minds Equity Scholarships are awarded to students who may not have been able to attend university or continue their studies without financial aid.

Your donation will provide immense encouragement to students who are unable to financially support themselves, to take the opportunity to complete their degrees, and fulfil their potential.

Everyone benefits

This program allows you to make a regular or one-off donation from your pre-tax salary. You'll receive an immediate tax benefit for your gift – 100% of your donation will be directed to the project or fund of your choice and reflected in your fortnightly payslip.

Start today

Join others who are already giving. No matter how large or small your donation, together, we can truly make a difference. The cost of a coffee per fortnight is all it takes. Please complete a Staff Giving Salary Sacrifice Form and email it to development@ecu.edu.au.

No. While the University appreciates your generosity in supporting other charitable institutions, our Staff Giving Program has been designed to support ECU students through the Inspiring Minds Equity Scholarship Fund.

We encourage our Staff Giving community to support ECU’s Inspiring Minds Equity Scholarship Fund. Together, your donations truly make a difference by providing scholarships to students who are most in need of financial support with the costs associated with university study.

Current undergraduate students from designated equity groups, including students from low socio-economic backgrounds, Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students, people with a disability or ongoing illness, people with significant caring responsibilities and those from rural or regional area of Australia are encouraged to apply through the ECU Scholarships webpage.

You can also opt donate to an ECU Foundation Fund or project of your choice. See our Giving to ECU webpage for the latest fundraising campaigns or contact the Office of Development and Alumni Relations team for more information.

It is becoming increasingly clear that governments can no longer pay all the costs for a university to be genuinely world-class. Therefore, our future is going to become more reliant on our ability to find new funding sources. Growing our support from philanthropy will play a critical role in enhancing ECU's future.
