ECU Business and Law Excellence Scholarship

At the School of Business and Law, our aim is to develop strong, capable leaders who will contribute to the real world. We strive for excellence and as one of our core values, we reward students who uphold these values. In recognition of this, ECU's School of Business and Law are proud to offer a 15% fee reduction scholarship to students who can demonstrate excellence in their field and a commitment to their studies.

  • You must apply for this scholarship by emailing Colin Watson before you apply for your course.
  • You must be a prospective ECU student to be eligible for this scholarship.

Eligibility guidelines

  • This scholarship is by nomination only.
  • You may be eligible for this scholarship if you can demonstrate a Weighted Average Mark above 70 from your undergraduate degree.
  • You may be eligible if you currently hold a management role within your company (C-Suite/ Director/ Senior Manager)
  • You must also be a domestic student intending to study a postgraduate Business & Law course (as listed below) to be eligible for nomination.
  • Candidates must not have submitted an application to study at ECU.

Eligible courses

Terms and conditions

To receive the scholarship you will need to meet the following ongoing conditions:

  • The scholarship recipient must not also be in receipt of another ECU scholarship.
  • The scholarship recipient must apply and accept their course offer within the time periods specified by ECU (if the course offer is not accepted within the stipulated deadline the scholarship offer will lapse).
  • The scholarship recipient must follow the instructions provided on how to redeem the scholarship and apply for the course.
  • The scholarship recipient must be continuously enrolled in their original course of application and have and maintain an academic progression status of GREEN;
  • Course transfers are not permitted without ECU’s permission (permission may be withheld by ECU in its absolute discretion).
  • The scholarship recipient must consent to their image being used by ECU for marketing and communication purposes and sign a talent release form to facilitate this.
  • The scholarship recipient must be reasonably available to support ECU’s marketing and communications endeavours through attendance at key marketing events nominated by ECU.
  • The scholarship recipient must pay their tuition fees within the stipulated payment deadlines. Failure to do so will negate the scholarship and the tuition fee structure will revert to full-fee tuition.
  • Candidates must not have submitted an application to study at ECU.

All scholarships are awarded at the discretion of ECU. ECU reserves the right to revoke the scholarship at any stage if a student is found to have provided information that is misleading, does not meet the scholarship eligibility criteria (including ECU’s standard and specific admission requirements), or does not comply with the ongoing conditions of the scholarship. ECU reserves the right to decline to award scholarships if, in its opinion, there are no suitable applicants. The  number of scholarships awarded shall be at the sole discretion of ECU.

To be eligible for this scholarship you must be nominated. Once nominated, we will provide you with instructions on how to redeem the scholarship and apply for your course.
