Sonam is a Lecturer (Counselling and Psychotherapy) within the School of Arts and Humanities. She is the Postgraduate field placement coordinator for the Master of Counselling and Psychotherapy and also supervises research projects of the students from the same course.

Background

2002 - 2012: Senior counsellor, counsellor educator, clinical supervisor and policy developer for the Ministry of Education in Bhutan.
2012 - 2015: Research assistant and sessional tutor, School of OT & Social Work, Curtin University
