Overview of thesis

My PhD research aims to use machine learning and computer vision to enhance the autonomous vehicle user ability of aging population. A mixed-methods approach will be used, combining driving simulations with personalised interfaces and semi-structured interviews to analyse user behaviour and trust levels. The expected outcome is to develop actionable design recommendations and adaptive system models that improve user acceptance and interaction quality. Making autonomous vehicles safer and more user-friendly for aging populations.
