Wei is an Adjunct Academic at Edith Cowan University, contributing to collaborative research in digital agriculture, plant phenomics, and artificial intelligence driven agricultural systems.

Background

Wei Guo is an Associate Professor at the University of Tokyo, Graduate School of Agricultural and Life Sciences, and leads research in field based high throughput plant phenotyping. His work focuses on integrating proximal sensing, UAVs, ground robots, and machine learning to quantify crop traits at field scale. He has extensive experience in interdisciplinary research spanning agriculture, computer vision, and data driven crop science, and actively collaborates with industry and international partners on digital agriculture and smart farming systems.
