Dr. Naeem Khalid Janjua is a Lecturer at the Schoolof Science, ECU, Perth. He works actively in the domain of making informed businessdecisions (business intelligence) through the use of Web-based intelligentdecision support systems.

Prior to joining the School of Science in July2016, he worked as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at UNSW Canberra and as a ResearchAssociate at Curtin University. He received MS degree in Information Technologyfrom the National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Pakistan; andthe Ph.D. degree in Information Systems from Curtin University, Perth,Australia, in 2013.  He has more than 5 years of experience in informationsystem’s design and development in various business environments.  He is anAssociate Editor for International Journal of Computer System Science andEngineering (IJCSSE) and International Journal of Intelligent systems (IJEIS).He has published an authored book, a book chapter, and various articles ininternational journals and refereed conference proceedings. His areas of activeresearch are knowledge representation and reasoning, enterprise knowledgemanagement, cloud computing and IoT. He works actively in the domain of makinginformed business decisions (business intelligence) through the use ofWeb-based intelligent decision support systems.

  2. Sub-Committee Chair on Web Semantics under the umbrella of Technical Committee on Industrial Informatics.
  3. Executive member of the Australian Society for Operations Research, ACT Chapter.
