Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples can enter ECU using a specialised entry pathway, in addition to ECU's other pathway options.
The Aboriginal University Readiness Assessment (AURA), formerly known as the Aboriginal Student Intake Test (ASIT), is an improved and dedicated pathway for prospective Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. It includes a new self-assessment of skills, knowledge and lifestyle to enable informed decision-making about entering and thriving at Edith Cowan University (ECU).
