About

We are a collective of health professionals, academics and Community leaders dedicated to building strong, positive futures through education, research and cultural exchange. Kurongkurl Katitjin supports current, future and Alumni Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, helping them realise their full potential within a culturally safe and welcoming environment.

Our work extends across the University and into Community. We conduct and promote Indigenous research and cultural knowledge, provide cultural education and awareness for staff and students, and partner with Community to advance Indigenous-led projects and reconciliation.

Relationship-driven and purpose-led, we approach our work with deep cultural awareness, authentic engagement and respect for diversity. As a gathering place for knowledge, leadership and collaboration, Kurongkurl Katitjin strengthens connections between the University and Community to create lasting, meaningful change.
