Balancing Stress

Whilst stress is part of body’s natural reaction to perceives threats and pressures within our lives, it can also be problematic. ECU has designed a four hour group program to provide information on understanding the impact of stress and to provide strategies to maintain better balance within your life.

The workshop will equip you with the knowledge and skill to maintaining balance under stress. The workshop is facilitated by the clinical psychology students under the supervision of a clinical psychologist.

Free Exercise Program at ECU

Free Exercise Program

ECU is pleased to offer a new free exercise program to help people take their first steps towards better fitness and improved mental health. Available to everyone aged 18 and above, the service is offered at ECU's Psychological Services Centre in Wanneroo and is also available online. Participants enrol in a 13-week program, which sees exercise physiologists and their students teaching various exercises to improve physical and mental wellbeing. No previous workout experience or equipment is required, as all exercises rely on bodyweight. One-hour sessions will be offered 4 times per day, 3 days per week available by appointment/booking.

ECU sleeping better program is an interactive four-week workshop

Sleeping Better

ECU Sleeping Better program is an interactive 3 hour workshop. The workshop aims to help anyone who is suffering from:

  • Difficulty falling asleep at night
  • Wakes frequently during the night
  • Has difficulty waking
  • Wakes too early
  • Has sleep is of poor quality
  • Worries about getting to sleep and or gaining sufficient sleep and impact of poor sleep

The workshop will equip you with the knowledge and skills to sleeping better. The workshop is facilitated by clinical psychology students under the supervision of a clinical psychologist.
