Criminology and Justice

The discipline of Criminology within the School of Arts and Humanities has a continued and strong commitment to research in the area of Criminology, Law and Justice. Research in the School is growing and has specific goals, which include informing learning and teaching activities, collaboration with industry partners, gaining higher qualifications and developing a vibrant research culture to excite and motivate our students.

Our approach to research is differentiated, targeted and welcoming of collaborative partners. Our approach is aligned with the university’s strategies of concentrating research in areas of strength and excellence; engaging widely with local, national and international institutions, industry and community partners, and all levels of government; establishing and partnering joint research interests and collaborating with other researchers who are leaders in their field.

This section presents current and completed projects briefs conducted by Criminology. Indicated within each project is the staff and industry partners involved; funding bodies; and resulting reports and publications.
