Alireza is a Lecturer in Engineering within the School of Engineering.

Current Teaching

Background

  • Alireza holds a Ph.D. degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Adelaide, a M.Sc. degree in Reservoir Engineering from the University of Tehran (Iran) and a B.Sc. degree in Chemical-Petroleum Engineering from Petroleum University of Technology (Iran). Prior of joining ECU, Alireza was a research scientist in CSIRO-Energy business unit where he conducted research on enhancing gas production from unconventional resources and CO2-sequestration. Before pursuing his Ph.D. study, he was a Petroleum Engineer in National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) for 6 years. Alireza‚Äôs research interests focus on Enhanced Oil/Gas Recovery from conventional and unconventional reservoirs.
