Lunch catch-up for the School of Science HDR students.
On Thursday, 26th of May, a Lunch Catch-up was organised for HDR postgraduate students hosted by HDR Representatives from School of Science. Many students belonging to various backgrounds attended the event. The purpose of the event was to encourage an environment of positive collaboration and engagement with all students, but especially all new HDR students.
This event was generously provided a delicious lunch funded by the School of Science (SSCI) and organised by Yvonne Garwood, Senior School Officer. To create an ongoing culture of support and collaboration, SSCI HDR representatives will be arranging ongoing monthly events to integrate students in different stages of their candidature to share ideas and express concerns that might affect their academic journey. These events will be casual in format and mostly held during lunchtime at the Joondalup campus.
