Hamad Hassan

Overview of thesis

Developing controlled atmosphere storage protocols for a new mango cultivar. The objective of this project is extending postharvest storage life and promoting its domestic and international trade.

  • Preharvest and postharvest factors affecting quality of fruits.
  • Maintaining quality of fruits by developing postharvest technologies.
  • Extending shelf life of fruits by using various edible coatings and postharvest storage technologies (Controlled Atmosphere Storage, Modified Atmosphere Packaging)
