Joanne is an associate research fellow at the School of Science.

Background

Joanne’s research involves investigating musculoskeletal injury and physical health in collaboration with the Australian Defence Force. Joanne’s research aims to examine musculoskeletal injury epidemiology and injury prevention to minimise injuries in service men and women. The Department of Defence funds Joanne’s research.

Joanne is also a titled Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist with the Australian Physiotherapy Association, having worked clinically for over ten years in various settings, including sports, military healthcare and tertiary hospitals.
