Effective customer service depends on Emotional labour. Julie will be discussing strategies to help service providers manage emotional labour to create value and achieve service excellence.
In recent years, tourist sites featuring in films and TV series have seen unprecedented visitor numbers. Coined ‘Film Tourism’, the implications for stakeholders such as policy makers, media producers, the creative industries, DMOs, host communities and tourists have been far reaching. The resulting research has been multi-disciplinary, bringing together academics in social psychology, media and cultural studies, policy making, environmental studies, geography and marketing. Despite greater understanding of the Film Tourism phenomena, there still remain critical gaps in this knowledge area. This talk by Sean Kim looks at five areas of concerns in detail.
