CW+W launches with an inaugural industry and research event

ECU’s Centre for Work + Wellbeing’s (CW+W) inaugural event was held on 24th March at Fraser Suites Perth. There were more than 60 industry guests, as well as insightful presentations on how to lead organisations through turbulent times.

Chief Executive Officer at the Local government Professionals Australia WA, Candy Choo opened the event, and gave her view on the importance of healthy organisations.

Centre Director, Professor Tim Bentley also presented about the need to address upcoming risks regarding occupational health, safety and welling along with human factor issues in the workplace.

The Centre for Work + Wellbeing, is focused on promoting healthy work and wellbeing in the workplace, with a vision of impacting policy and organisational practice for promoting positive mental health and organisational wellbeing. The global pandemic has hit everyone in different ways, and the subject of wellbeing is more important than ever before.

A big thank you to all the guests and presenters for the immense support towards CW + W.
