Adjunct Lecturer Dr Eerang Park

Dr Eerang Park is a Lecturer in Tourism management. She previously taught at University of Lincoln in the UK and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in Hong Kong. Her research interests include tourism and community development/empowerment, sustainability and tourism, tourism in Asia, tourist experience and destination management, and visual research in tourism (e.g. media representation, photograph).

Dr Park has a wide range of tourism industrial experiences including tour operation, CVB, NGO, and tourism consulting in the United States and Korea. She has been working on a number of research projects about tourism social impact, community empowerment, tourist behaviour, sustainability of event and event experiences. Her recent research project focuses on ‘food tourism in Asia’ and Cittaslow, community empowerment and quality of life’.
