Dr Saiyidi Mat Roni is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting at School of Business and Law.

Biography

Saiyidi is the lead author of two books in statistical analysis published by Springer which have combined downloads of nearly 100,000 as of August 2026. Dr Mat Roni's work in data analytic spans from conventional statistical tests to machine learning algorithms, and natural language processing for text analytics. He also actively involves in carbon sequestration field with geospatial data for nature-based carbon credit.
