Dr. Flavio is the Director of Academic Studies and a senior lecturer in the School of Business and Law.

Background

Flavio was an Associate Professor in Management and the Academic Director of the Masters in Business Networks at UNIP, Brazil. He was also an adjunct lecturer of Operations Management at Insper Business School (AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS accredited), with an active role in Assurance of Learning. He is the leader of the Quality in Service Management stream of the SEMEAD conference and an associate editor of RBGN journal. His international research partnerships span the countries of Brazil, Portugal, Australia and the US. By 2018 he had supervised to completion 8 masters by research and 74 post-graduate students.

Flavio has industry experience and connections as an engineer at Mercedes-Benz and as a consultant to companies with operations in South America such as Anglo American, BIOSEV, JBS, Votorantim and NEXA Resources – where he is a mentor to future leaders in Brazil and Peru’s mining sector. He has a background as an entrepreneur, being the founder of Reliasoft Brazil (1999) and Catalyst Brazil (2002), and also a partner at Sapiens Sapiens (2007) and Integracao Business School (2012).
