A comparative analysis of stand-alone and grid-connected hybrid renewable energy systems meeting electric and thermal loads

Energy systems can be hybridised through renewables and designed to meet both electric and thermal loads. Operating these systems, which can be grid-connected or stand-alone whilst considering their optimal load meeting reliability, power quality and cost of energy, is influenced by the Power Management Strategy and renewable energy mix. This PhD project integrates experiments, modelling and optimisation of such energy.
