Biography

Associate Professor Iftekhar Ahmad completed his Bachelor of Engineering(Hons) (BUET) and Doctor of Philosophy (Monash) in 2002 and 2007, respectively. Iftekhar leads the wireless communication research group at the School of Engineering, ECU.

His research interests include next generation communication networks including 5G/6G, sensor technologies and data analytics, green communication technologies, network security, renewable energy systems and electric vehicles.

Iftekhar was an associate editor of the Australian Journal of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (AJEEE) in 2014-2017. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
