Overview of thesis

Through an Industry Engagement PhD with The Shire of Augusta Margaret River this place-based action research will investigate how to achieve a climate resilient, zero carbon future for the region. Evidence-based frameworks, strategies, and recommendations for decarbonisation at a Local Government and community level will be built, with learning that can be applied across other jurisdictions. This research will have a particular approach of bringing a people-centred and social justice framing to the field of decarbonisation.
