Mandurah Regional Learning Hub

Opening Hours

The Mandurah Regional Learning Hub, at WOTSO, is open for students from Monday - Friday, 8.00am - 5.00pm throughout the calendar year.

Access

ECU students can access the Mandurah Regional Learning Hub by requesting an ECU swipe card at WOTSO Reception. The Receptionist will sign out a temporary swipe card to students, which must be returned to Reception before leaving WOTSO.

Transport and Parking

  • Free street parking and parking lots available off Ormsby Terrace and Marco Polo Drive.
  • 588 and 589 buses from the Mandurah train station drop off at the ‘Mandurah Terrace Before Peel Street’ stop and ‘Mandurah after Peek Street’ stop. These stops are located in front of Tods Café, a short 5-minute walk across the boardwalk to WOTSO.

Facilities

WOTSO Mandurah, is a co-working space with great amenities to support a full day of study and social connection:

  • Fully stocked kitchen with complimentary snacks, tea and coffee
  • High-speed Wi-Fi
  • Meeting rooms
  • Printing stations
  • Private phone booths
  • Toilet and shower facilities
  • Wheelchair accessible

Students can access limited WOTSO printing facilities for free. Please enquire at the WOTSO Reception for printing.

The ECU South West Mandurah Regional Learning Hub has been furbished with:

  • Dual monitor stations for student use
  • Individual desks for personal study
  • Group study table
  • Sensory space with soft furnishings
  • Games, books and creative activities
  • Noise-cancelling headphones (loan only)

Services

Learning Advisors are available by appointment. To book an appointment with a Learning Advisor, please visit My Appointments and scroll down to 'Regional Learning Hub'.

A concierge will be available 5 days a week to support your student enquiries and direct you to the wide range of ECU services available to meet your needs.

Lunch, Learn & Launch!

Where: Event Space, WOTSO, 22 Ormbsy Terrace Mandurah

Launch, Learn & Launch with ECU South West at the newly refurbished Mandurah Regional Learning Hub at WOTSO!

Join Professor Paul Haskell-Dowland on a journey of communicating complex topics in a relatable way that everyone can understand. In this pre-recorded lecture, "From TikTok to Pegasus: Communicating cyber to the masses", learn how to:

  • Effectively communicate scientific concepts to anyone;
  • Leverage the media to maximise the reach of your research; and
  • Recognise the value of non-traditional research dissemination methods.

After the pre-recorded lecture and light lunch, take a guided tour of WOTSO, visit the Regional Learning Hub for ECU giveaways, information and meet the Hub team!
