Adjunct Professor Brett Davies is a Partner at Legal Consolidated Barristers & Solicitors and an Adjunct Professor at both The University of Western Australia and Edith Cowan University. He is a Barrister of the High Court of Australia, specialising in ethics, taxation, superannuation, and estate planning.

Biography

Professor Davies is a highly regarded taxation, superannuation, and estate planning lawyer with over 35 years of experience. He is a Partner at Legal Consolidated Barristers & Solicitors, where he pioneered Australia’s first law firm to provide legal documents entirely online. An innovator in the commercial legal sector, he previously founded Integrated Legal Holdings Ltd, which became the second listed law firm in the world.

Bridging the gap between legal practice and academia,Professor Davies holds seven university degrees, including a doctorate in Estate and Succession Planning. He is deeply committed to legal education, serving as an Adjunct Professor at both The University of Western Australia and Edith Cowan University, as well as an Adjunct Fellow at Curtin University. Furthermore, he is the Volunteer Managing Director of the Institute of Legal Training (IOLT), where he also volunteers as a lecturer in ethics for their Practical Legal Training (PLT) course for law graduates. Additionally, he is a Visiting Fellow at the Australian National University's Burgmann College.
