Biography

Dr Alex Zhang was awarded his Ph.D. in 2017 from Edith Cowan University with a thesis focusing on corporate sustainability reporting. Before joining Edith Cowan University, he held a manager position at Credit Risk Strategy and Assurance at Commonwealth Bank. Dr Alex Zhang has also taught a wide range of subjects in accounting at Murdoch and Curtin Universities, such as Taxation, Accounting Foundation, Advanced Corporate Reporting, and Intermediate Financial Reporting.

Dr Alex Zhang is an active researcher and has published his work in many international referred journals, such as: Journal of Computer Information System, Journal of Cleaner Production, Meditari Accountancy Research, Finance Research Letters, International Review of Economics & Finance, among others.
