Research areas and interests
Ghialy’s research interests are diverse as long as the research topics are interesting. Since 2010, her main research project is modelling political risks on tourism development. She has published her research in various top tier tourism journals such as Journal of Travel Research, International Journal of Tourism Research, Tourist Analysis and Tourism Economics. Furthermore, she has a growing passion in superannuation research after her first publication with Professor Paul Gerrans about retirement saving investment choice. At present, she is planning to extend her research interests in women in superannuation and how women from disadvantage families make their retirement financial decisions.
