Hina Fatima serves as a Lecturer in the Management discipline within the ECU School of Business and Law. She delivers teaching across key management units while contributing to research and academic service within the School. Her role focuses on enhancing student learning, supporting scholarly outcomes, and contributing to the School’s teaching, research, and service priorities.
Hina Fatima is an experienced HR and banking professional with a background in recruitment, performance management, staff development, and organisational communication. She brings several years of valuable industry experience from MCB Bank Limited in Pakistan, where she supported regional HR operations and contributed to workplace capability building.
Her commitment to continuous learning and professional growth led her to pursue research in women’s entrepreneurship, culminating in a PhD that examined how women entrepreneurs, both migrant and non‑migrant, use social media and online social capital to develop early‑stage ventures.
Hina has contributed to the academic community through teaching roles at Edith Cowan University, where she delivers management‑related units and supports students through engaging and research‑informed learning experiences. She has also demonstrated leadership as President of the ECU Women in Business Club, strengthening student engagement and industry collaboration.
She looks forward to continuing her academic journey at ECU by integrating her industry expertise, research interests, and passion for supporting women in business, while also exploring emerging work and career‑related research pathways.
