Heidi is a lecturer in the management discipline in the school of business and law. She is currently completing PhD research in the area of Employment Relations and Labour Governance.
Heidi is currently completing PhD research on the management and regulation of health and safety in the Indonesian construction industry. Her research interest relates broadly to the labour governance of insecure workers with particular relevance to OHS and its broadening applications.
Heidi holds an undergraduate degree in Asian Studies / Economics (UWA) and master’s degree in international relations (Curtin)and has extensive teaching experience across the management discipline with a focus on units in Human Resource Management, Employment Relations and Organisational Behaviour. Prior to her work in academia Heidi worked in private practice for 10 years as a client facing management consultant on major infrastructure projects in the civil aviation and extractive industries in Australia, the UK and Indonesia.
