Amber is a Senior School Officer (Research) in the ECU School of Business and Law, where she plays a key role in supporting academics and Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students throughout their research journey. With a genuine interest in helping others succeed, Amber works closely with the School’s research community to ensure researchers feel supported, informed, and confident as they navigate research processes.
Amber brings over 15 years of experience across higher education and the not-for-profit sector, having worked with students and academics at undergraduate, postgraduate, and HDR levels. Her background has shaped a strong commitment to leadership and continuous improvement, and she is always looking for ways to refine processes, strengthen support frameworks, and improve the overall research experience. Amber values open communication, teamwork, and building positive working relationships, and she is passionate about contributing to a supportive and inclusive research culture within the School of Business and Law.
