Am I Eligible?

Before applying for assistance, it's essential to verify that you meet the eligibility requirements. This step ensures that you qualify for the services offered and can make the most of the support available.

We may be able to assist you if you meet the eligibility criteria below:

  • You are currently unrepresented (do not have a tax agent)
  • You need help with your tax affairs providing it’s for returns from 2015 to current.
  • You are a low-income earner experiencing financial hardship
  • You are a victim of domestic or financial abuse
  • You are homeless, incarcerated, or living in a detention centre
  • You live in a remote location with limited or no access to professional tax support
  • You face cultural or language barriers that prevent access to professional tax assistance are affected by health issues, including illness, disability, or mental health challenges

If you are eligible, we can help you with:

  • Tax file number
  • ABN
  • GST
  • Work-related tax deductions
  • Negotiating a Payment Plan for the ATO tax debt
  • Remission of penalties
  • Your current and prior year’s tax returns through MyGov
  • Individual Tax Return under registered tax agent portal
