Professor Maryam Omari, Associate Professor Ben Farr-Wharton and Professor Tim Bentley presenting online to the Chief Executive Women WA Chapter
On Thursday 3rd of September, scholars from the School of Business and Law presented to the Chief Executive Women WA Chapter. The scholars - Professor Maryam Omari, Professor Tim Bentley and Associate Professor Ben Farr-Wharton, presented on the topic Frontiers of Flexibility, and offered five key insights for senior managers, on how to build inclusive remote and flexible working arrangements in organisations, that also enhance employee wellbeing.
Over the past year, the scholars in collaboration with other senior, early- and mid-career scholars from the School of Business and Law, have generated a substantial program of research exploring the themes of flexible work, employee wellbeing and inclusion and diversity, particularly during the COVID-19 lockdown. This program of impactful research includes projects delivered in collaboration with prominent WA-based, national and international organisations and bodies.
The research team have ongoing research in the space and are actively inviting collaboration from business leaders who wish to stay at the frontiers of flexible and inclusive work. The team is currently working with over ten industry partners to develop best practices for organisational productivity, staff -and stakeholder engagement to generate maximised outcomes.
We welcome you and your organisation to contact Associate Professor Ben Farr-Wharton, Course Coordinator HRM, to start the conversation and get involved with our Research Hub.
