Emily is a Lecturer in Speech Pathology in the School of Medical and Health Sciences.

Background

Emily is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist with postgraduate qualifications in health services administration and health promotion. She has clinical experience in rural and remote service provision, private practice, health and education services. Emily has worked at Edith Cowan University for over ten years as a Clinical Educator, Lecturer and Research Assistant.

Emily received an Australian Government Research Training Program Scholarship as a PhD Candidate at ECU, exploring the use of dynamic assessment with multilingual children with Developmental Language Disorder. She collaborates with national and international colleagues on research projects to improve speech pathology assessment for children who speak multiple languages.
