Bachelor of Health Science K97

Health Science Majors:

  • Occupational and Environmental Health and Safety (OEHS)
  • Nutrition Bioscience
  • Addiction Studies
  • Nutrition
  • Health Promotion
  • Occupational Safety and Health (OSH)

We require that your pre-placement preparation documentation is up to date at the start of each semester and remain valid for the duration of your placement(s).

These are mandatory requirements for supervised placements including but not limited to HST3502 (Health Sciences Professional Practices). Supervised placements occur from Year 2.

Health, Safety and Risk Management

  • Mental Health First Aid (Please note: ECU courses will be advertised through the K97 Canvas Community site and your HST3502 Canvas site)

Recommended

  • Applied First Aid (HLTAID011)

Placement Site Specific Requirements:

  • Some placement sites will have their own specific pre-placement requirements.
  • You will be notified of these by your Placement Supervisor or Placement Coordinator.

  • Mask Fit Testing Certificate
