These training packages consisting of learning modules, activity modules and assessment checklists for thirty units were completed for the Aboriginal Health Council of Western Australia to support training of Aboriginal Health Workers.
Using story formats and settings specific to Aboriginal Health Workers the units covered identification of community health needs, health project planning and evaluation, working with culturally diverse clients, occupational health and safety, brief intervention, tackling smoking, capacity, policy and community development, advocacy, use of media, budgeting and caring for sick people.
