Ben Tuck

Background

Ben started working with ECU as a Senior Laboratory Technician after completing a PhD in the field of Chemical Engineering. Here, Ben conducted industry driven research, receiving the Brian Cherry Award and Chancellor's Commendation for his published work on microbial biofilm control. Ben also worked as a sessional academic at Curtin University, teaching Biomedical Sciences and Human Anatomy and Physiology to medical students. Ben has a strong passion for science and scientific communication, especially in the field of environmental microbiology, which he brings to the School of Medical and Health Sciences.

  • Bachelor of Science: Molecular Genetics and Biotechnology, Curtin University of Technology, 2016.
