Dianne is Director, International in the School of Education.

Background

Dianne has recently moved to Edith Cowan University after working at Hiroshima University, Japan. She has had extensive international experience and has been involved in tertiary education to prepare teachers for more than 25 years.

Professor Chambers has a wide range of interests in the area of special and inclusive education including:

  • the use of assistive technology to support communication and learning;
  • accessible Open Education Resources (OER);
  • the preparedness and attitudes of beginning teachers to accommodate students with diverse abilities in their classrooms;
  • Universal Design for Learning; and
  • International Education.
