Bev is a Lecturer and the Academic Professional Experience Coordinator (Early Childhood Studies) for the School of Education.

Background

Bev has over 30 years’ experience teaching in the state education system where she had various leaderships roles including Early Childhood Consultant. She has also been teaching for over 15 years at ECU in the School of Education with leadership roles in Professional Experience and 4th year coordination in the undergraduate course. Bev’s extensive teaching experience informs all aspect of her work at ECU where she is committed to prepare pre-service teachers to be classroom ready to teach in schools with a current, relevant knowledge and practical application of this using the WA curriculum, learning frameworks, the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers and innovative research.
