Canvas Champions and Peer Assistants are available online and at your Campus Library each weekday during semester.
See below for service details.
While studying it’s likely you’re going to be faced with some new ways of doing things.
At times you’ll be relying on technology to connect and collaborate with staff and peers, and using new platforms and applications. Some things will be easy, while others might require a little bit of help. Peer Assistants are here to usher you through your learning technology journey!
The service has been designed to deliver just-in-time assistance when you need to know what to do, or where to click, in order to solve learning technology issues as they arise, so you can get on with your work.
This year we've introduced Canvas Champions, who assist students with Canvas. You'll be using Canvas regularly for your studies.
The peer service is run through Microsoft Teams, so it’s easy to chat online to a friendly and knowledgeable peer assistant pretty much instantly during the service hours.
We also have an on campus option so you can easily connect in person, just by dropping by your Campus Library during service times. Spot the peers by looking out for their red t-shirts!
