Can’t remember what you borrowed last month? You know it has a red cover and the author’s name is Fred, but what was the title?!

Introducing the 'Borrowing history' feature to My Account.

Borrowing history provides a list of materials you've previously had on loan.

All patrons now have the option to switch on Borrowing history in your Library account.

When enabled, the Borrowing history tab will appear in My Account and users will have the choice to enable retention of their history from the Profile tab.

How do I activate it?

To enable the Borrowing history feature, simply:

  • log in to My Account
  • navigate to the 'Profile' tab on the tool bar
  • toggle on the 'Enable my borrowing history' option

Functions of the 'Borrowing history' feature

  • Collection of bibliographic, item and usage data.
  • Title hyperlinks to the Library catalogue to view current availability, export citation details, and/or place a hold request.
  • Status column indicates if the item was returned by the user or if the user claimed the material was lost/never on loan.
  • Date column indicates when the item was returned to the collection.
  • By default, borrowing history will be sorted with the most recently returned item first. You can alternatively choose to sort the list by Date or Title.
