WA Mental Health Week is observed 8-15 October 2022. Discover ECU research around the study and understanding of mental health issues in ECU’s institutional repository, Research Online.
WA Mental Health Week seeks to raise awareness and continue to break down stigma around mental health issues.
This year’s theme is ‘Where we live. How we live. What we’ve lived.’ It considers how the mind, body and environment each play an important role in our physical health, mental health, and overall wellbeing, and how physical health and surrounding environments affect and impact mental health.
The theme also refers to the importance of becoming trauma-informed, to increase understanding of challenging behaviours.
