ECU Library’s loan laptop service continues in 2023. Please note some recent changes to the borrowing conditions.
The Library collection includes laptops which are available for short term loan (of up to four weeks) to current ECU students in Western Australia during semester.
This popular service is designed to assist students who are having temporary issues accessing a computer, or who are experiencing technical issues with their existing equipment.
Our team works hard to ensure the laptops are well maintained and accessible. Just like other items within our collections, if a laptop is not available we'll contact you when one has been returned from loan.
In order to ensure laptops continue to be accessible to all students, there have been some recent changes to the service including an increase in fines if equipment is returned late, and increased onus on looking after the equipment while you have it out on loan.
