SAGE Catalyst E-Textbooks Moving to New Platform from 1 August

From 1 August 2025, the SAGE Catalyst e-textbook collection will continue to be available through the Library, but it will be delivered via a new platform: VitalSource.

While the platform is changing, SAGE Catalyst itself remains the same—you will still have access to the same high-quality collection of e-textbooks that support teaching and learning across a wide range of disciplines, including business, education, psychology, health, media, sociology and more.

Key details:

  • Reading List links have already been updated and will take you directly to the new platform—no action required.
  • From 31 July, SAGE Catalyst e-textbooks will no longer appear in Library Search. To browse or search the full collection, please use the SAGE Catalyst link available on the Library’s A–Z Databases page.
  • Some older editions may be removed and replaced with newer versions during the transition.
