    ECU Library continues to provide access to IGI Global’s expanding open access collection, supporting research and learning across disciplines.

ECU Library joined IGI Global’s Evidence-Based Acquisition (EBA) program two years ago, providing access to the full eBook collection. Titles are reviewed based on use and relevance, with selected works added permanently to the Library’s holdings.

Key Subject Areas

With more than 7,800 titles, the IGI Global platform supports ECU’s teaching and research in a range of interdisciplinary areas, including:

  • Business and management
  • Education and social sciences
  • Media and communications
  • Security, forensics, and applied computing

Many titles focus on the role of emerging technologies in professional, educational, and societal contexts, offering useful insights for both coursework and research.
