As part of ECU’s transition to the new City Campus, and with the School of Education relocating to Joondalup, the Library’s Transitions Team is moving selected Mount Lawley collections to Joondalup.
Between 27 October and 7 November 2025, Education, Teaching, Special Collections, selected DVDs and book collections will be packed and moved from the Mount Lawley Campus Library and re-shelved at the Joondalup Campus Library.
Look out for signage marked Library on the Move to guide you during this transition.
The relocation will impact portions of the Library collection located on:
You may notice some general noise from trolley movement, packing, and shelving during this period. Certain sections of the collection may also be temporarily inaccessible.
The lifts at Mount Lawley Campus Library will be in high demand by removalists during the relocation period. Please note that one of the two lifts are currently out of order, and a request for repairs has been lodged.
There may be delays accessing the remaining lift. Signage will be in place to help guide you to alternate routes and study areas. If you require lift access or additional assistance, please speak with Library staff.
We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience during this time.
Silent Study Rooms remain open at both Joondalup and Mount Lawley campuses if you need a quiet place to study.
You can also book a solo or group study room at both campuses for quiet or collaborative work.
Many titles are also available as eBooks, giving you 24/7 access no matter where you are.
