As ECU prepares for the move to the new City Campus, the Library’s Transitions Team is beginning the final stage of packing collections at Mount Lawley.
Library services will continue as normal during this time, and staff will be available to assist with any questions or requests.
From 17 November 2025, the remaining Mount Lawley Library collections will be packed in preparation for their move. Students and staff will notice boxes on all floors as Library teams carefully prepare materials for relocation.
Look out for signage marked Library on the Move to guide you during this transition.
You may notice visible changes and some noise on all levels of the Mount Lawley Library as packing progresses. Boxes and trolleys will be in use across the library.
Library staff will make every effort to keep noise to a minimum during this time.
The lifts at Mount Lawley Campus Library will be in high demand by removalists during the relocation period. Please note that one of the two lifts is currently out of order, and a request for repairs has been lodged.
There may be delays accessing the remaining lift. Signage will be in place to help guide you to alternate routes and study areas. If you require lift access or additional assistance, please speak with Library staff.
We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience during this time.
Silent Study Rooms remain open at the Mount Lawley Campus Library if you need a quiet place to study (Room 8.306). You can also book a solo or group study room at both campuses for quiet or collaborative work.
Many titles are also available as eBooks, giving you 24/7 access no matter where you are.
